Airflow without moving parts.

Fans move air with spinning blades. We do it with electricity alone. Cedrion devices cool critical electronics and inactivate airborne pathogens — silently, with no moving parts and nothing to wear out.

What we do

From spinning blades to pure electricity.

A fan needs a motor and spinning blades to move air. We use only electricity.

In our air-cleaning devices, that same energy inactivates the viruses and bacteria the air carries: over 99.9% in a single pass, in under a second.

Thermal management

Cooling exactly where the heat is.

We replace fans and bulky heat sinks in electronics that run hot inside tight, sealed or weight-critical enclosures: PCBs, power electronics, avionics and onboard systems. Each module is sized to the product and delivered ready to integrate.

Boreas

Bidirectional heat sink for PCBs and raised components.

Notus

Unidirectional ventilation module for tight, noise-sensitive spaces.

Air biosecurity

Clean air in spaces shared by people and animals.

We build systems that inactivate viruses and bacteria in the air of ambulances, laboratories and livestock facilities, running continuously with people and animals present. No chemicals, no filters, no consumables. They reach the market as Kirion, our biosecurity product line.

Kirion Air

Standalone unit for rooms, clinics and laboratories.

Kirion On Board

Module that integrates into the HVAC of ambulances, vehicles and farms.

Silent

No motor, no blades, no vibration.

Half the weight

90 g instead of 200 g in a fan-cooled PCB benchmark.

Half the power

1.5 W instead of 3.2 W in the same benchmark.

Nothing to wear out

No bearings, no filters, no consumables.

Sectors

Built for environments where every gram, every decibel and every microbe counts.

Aerospace & Mobility

Cooling for electronics that fly, and drive.

  • PCB and component-level cooling in sealed enclosures
  • Weight- and volume-constrained avionics and payloads
  • Power electronics and batteries for electric vehicles
  • Vibration-free cooling for sensitive instruments
  • Dual-use platforms, civil and defence

Biosecurity

Clean air where contamination is not an option.

  • BSL-2 laboratories and laminar flow cabinets
  • Ambulances and patient transport
  • Animal health: pig farms, AI centres and livestock transport
  • Agri-food R&D: plasma for seed sanitation and crop treatment

Thermal management · Boreas

Replacing the fan on a hot PCB

Challenge
A PCB cooled by a conventional fan: tall, heavy, audible and power-hungry.
Solution
Boreas sits directly on the hot surface. Air enters from the top and exits through the sides, carrying heat out of the enclosure with no moving parts.

Half the weight, half the power, less than half the height.

Biosecurity · Kirion Onboard

Onboard biosecurity for ambulance fleets

Challenge
Crews and patients share a small, closed compartment between transports. HEPA units add noise and draw heavily on the vehicle’s power, and chemical disinfection cannot run with people on board.
Solution
Kirion On Board module.Kirion Onboard: a 1.2 kg module running on 12 V DC at 20 W, installed standalone behind a grille or integrated into the vehicle’s HVAC circuit.
  • 235

    Units supplied for patient transport

  • >80%

Reduction of airborne particles (PM0.3–2.5) in 10 minutes, in real operating conditions

  • 578kg

CO₂ avoided per vehicle per year, and around 219 L of diesel, versus a 120 W HEPA unit (model estimate)

Biosecurity · Kirion-A & Kirion-O

A BSL-2 laboratory analysing flood sludge

Challenge
A BSL-2 laboratory processing sludge samples from the 2024 DANA floods, with high bacterial and amoeba loads in the air and on work surfaces.
Solution
Kirion-A standalone units and Kirion-O integrated units, operating continuously with staff present.
  • 99%

Reduction of bacteria and free-living amoebas in the air and on surfaces while the systems were running
